We have run into some pitfalls in our lives, and need direct surgical treatment to accomplish medical progress.

Unfortunately our lives has run into one difficulty after another. First, we had to have emergency surgery on a dog that we rescued that cost over $5000. Second, my service dog has run into medical complications and needs constant steroids and prescription food. Third, Janelle’s job was severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and her income was cut by 75%. Fourth, I need surgery as soon as 9/18/20 in order to avoid permanent nerve damage in my hands. Once I have recovered from the first surgery I am going to have to immediately go back under the knife and get surgery on my left hand.

We have battened down all extra expenses, cook everything at home, picked up odd jobs and work, reached out to all state and local assistance programs for help, negotiated for labor with our landlord to discount rent, exhausted all family members as resources, and begged for more hours from employment to try to maximize income.

I will be out of comission for about a month with my surgery and with Janelle helping with recovery it will limit just how much extra odd work she can take on in order to increase income. We have maxed out our credit cards, and our bank account is down to the double digits.

We really need your help to keep going, we can’t even really afford food right now and we are $500 in the hole every single month. We couldn’t even afford to move into cheaper housing if we wanted to.

Anything you can do to help us through this tough time is extremely appreciated. I am happy to find any way to provide labor or goods in exchange when I am fully recovered.
